Tcheng Family Portraits at the MIM

If you know anyone living in the midwest or east coast, then you’ve heard about the polar vortex that is delighting us with several blankets of fresh snow and frigid (-30 degrees) temperatures. According to the news, it’s the first blizzard warning in WNY since 1993, so I guess it’s safe to say that this is the first real Buffalo winter that we get to experience.

So, on my first snow day ever, it seemed like a good time to share these portraits I took with my family in sunny and warm Phoenix, Ariz. while visiting for the holidays only a week ago. In case you’re wondering, the high there today is 72.

We haven’t taken family photos in a while, so I made it a point to schedule some time in knowing that we’d all be dressed up for the various graduation activities and events. We settled on a basic color palette of black-ish and gold-ish colors. After my sister’s induction to her nursing honor society, we scouted the area for a pretty backdrop and found a nicely shaded location at the MIM.

Group hugs are always the best.
