What I’m looking forward to: a partial Arizona cousins reunion in Chicago for Memorial Day Weekend. Unfortunately, we’ll miss my sister this year due to a conflicting work schedule. So far our plans include eating lots of food and a walking tour of Chi Town with the The Second City. Have any recommendations on where we should go, what we should do?
My first time: going to an actual pig roast. Is it bad that I could have pigged out on the seven bean dishes, salads and BAKED mac and cheese? I’m not a huge pork fan, but it was good. The above photo was taken at the location of the roast. It was gorgeous.
I can’t believe: Shonda Rhimes killed off Lexie Grey in the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy. And that she basically copied Lost with the whole plane crash thing. I mean REALLY. I know you’re probably thinking, “How can you still watch this show?” I think that too, but I can’t stop. No judging.
New shows we’ll be watching this summer: Girls on HBO, Veep on HBO, and Community. I know we’re tardy to the party with Community but we weren’t big fans of the pilot when we watched it the first time. Brandon gave it a second chance and it’s pretty funny. But . . . Senor Chang? REALLY?

Did you see? The Coyotes won Game 4 against the Kings. Even if they don’t win the series (although I still have faith), I’m glad they didn’t get swept. And I’ll take a shut out win any day.
My dad sent me a text message saying he gets to go to Game 5 tomorrow with my cousins who are driving in from LA. JELLY!!
Babies. I had a dream that one of my friends told me they were expecting a baby girl . . .
