The way I see lifestyle photography is simply photographing a subject “being.” The way you interpret that could be anything from a styled shoot with plenty of planned details, to me candidly hanging out in your home or at a local park.
Posed photos are safe. But, I truly enjoy and appreciate the photos in which I catch your child looking at me while he or she is playing with their toys, or when your husband/wife/fiance/boyfriend/girlfriend says something that makes you giggle or laugh.
