9 First Trimester Must-Haves
I thought I’d put together a little list of some of the things that helped me through my first trimester. I know everyone is different, but I loved reading these guides from other bloggers & friends, so I thought I’d do one of my own!
1. C9 Champion Sports Bra
Target does it again. This is the racerback convertible style. I picked up a few of these because I know I can use them post-baby for climbing, etc.
2. Camelbak Water Bottle
We have a few water bottles always filled up around the house and in our room to remind us to stay hydrated. I like the bottles with straws because it’s easier to drink at night when you’re half asleep and you don’t want to pour water all over you, and well, straws help you drink more water anyway.
3. Thai Iced Tea
I had a few weeks in my first trimester where nothing sounded appetizing and I couldn’t keep much down. I pretty much lived off of Vietnamese & Thai food, Five Guys, smoothies, and french fries. Super healthy, right?
4. Prenatal Vitamins
I have a hard time swallowing pills, so I take these gummies instead.
5. Aerie Yoga Pants
I had a pair of skinny yoga pants pre-pregnancy, but they came in handy once I started to get uncomfortable. The top fold over band gave me extra support.
6. Aveeno Eczema Therapy Lotion
My skin has always been dry, and no matter what I tried, I’d still have skin that peeled on my face. Gross, I know. But, I found this lotion from the baby line at a pediatric conference I went to with Brandon and it is amazing. It’s so moisturizing and I haven’t had any issues since. I also use it on my hands.
7. Hair Tie
This trick worked for me right up until the third trimester. I could still wear my skinnies by using the hair tie as a loop extender.
8/9. Honest Belly Balm & Body Lotion
When I first shared the news with family, my cousins and sister sent me a little gift of Honest goodies. I had never tried their products before that, but now really like them. I love the belly balm and lotion, the lip balms are great, and we now use the hand soap and body soap bars. Once baby comes, we’ll be using the baby wipes as well.
Are there any other items you’d add to this list?
